About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer in the Digital Technology and Innovation (DTI) group with significant Automation Engineering experience who enjoys and thrives on solving complex problems through innovation, solution design, and impacting change at scale into our customer-facing capabilities.

As part of the DTI team the Senior Software QA Engineer will provide all automation related tasks for the CEO Alerts product capabilities across the commercial banking and digital domain.

In this role, you will:

• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 4+ years of scripting and automation experience
• 2+ years of Java/J2EE programming experience
• 4+ years of experience working in an Agile environment
• 3+ years of Test-driven development (TDD) or BDD Karate or Cucumber framework experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Continuous integration with build servers such as Jenkins
• Experience building and executing automated tests (not Record & Playback)
• Experience in application automation and integration
• 2+ years of Oracle/PLSQL experience
