Job Description
Job Profile:
We are looking for an experienced QA engineer to be part of our technology department and contribute to the creation of the next generation of our bespoke software platform. The successful candidate will work closely with our business units and the wider tech team to deliver efficient digital processes for a global 24x7 operation.
Salary Range - USD 60k to USD 65k/ Year.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, and execute test strategy for each release across core VistaJet products and platforms
  • Work with development team to identify, define and execute the performance checks.
  • Report and document technical issues, as well as follow them up through the complete bug cycle.
  • Help developers and teams cultivate a quality mindset.
  • Work with development team to incorporate test processes/cycles into each sprint.
  • Drive the quality for a product/feature, assess risks to and ensure shipping features with a high-quality bar
  • Work on building a Quality driven engineering culture that helps ship products rapidly, confidently and with good quality.
  • Partner with teams to leverage solutions to prevent regressions and ensure reliability of product.
  • Help tackle cross-platform engineering challenges and contribute creative ideas to the improve quality
  • Work with product development team to define and verify the acceptance criteria of our user stories.
  • Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
  • Strong analytical skills to identify root cause and cause/effect relations.
  • Methodical, a self-starter, and passionate about quality which is key to the growth and success of a product.
  • Expert in web-based application testing.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
  • Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize the results.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • 5+ years of quality assurance and test engineering experience.

Preferred or desirable experience

  • Experience with API testing.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with performance testing.
  • Experience developing automated tests using Selenium
  • Experience with TDD, Gherkin
  • Experience with SQL databases.
