Qa Engineer – Scales Delivery

Our Scales Delivery team is looking for a QA Engineer who has strong manual testing experience.
A typical day would include:

• Participate in requirements and design meetings to establish test effort estimate
• Translate requirements, release notes, and other documentation into test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
• Perform testing and data validation utilizing SQL queries
• Present testing outcomes for review for go/no-go decisions
• Work on small to large project efforts on enterprise-level applications
• Participate in load and performance test efforts
• Manage defects found during testing efforts
• Build test data as necessary in preparation for automated or manual tests
• Work collaboratively with the team to determine test efforts for initiatives
• Manage test cases within Quality Center and Microsoft DevOps

Required Qualifications:

• Lead coordination of testing efforts across functional teams
• 2+ years with HP Quality Center
• 2+ years’ experience designing, developing and executing test cases
• 2+ years’ experience performing Quality Assurance software testing
• 2+ years’ experience with creating and executing complex SQL queries to support test activities
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and other teams within the department
• 2+ years’ experience with test case development tools
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences or other analytical discipline, or equivalent experience
