About the Role

We are currently seeking a Social Media and Communications Intern for the upcoming semester. The internship will provide the successful candidate with a comprehensive experience in digital communication, social media strategy, and community engagement. This role will work directly under the guidance and mentorship of the Communications Team, supporting the team in day-to-day operations.

Please note: This is a non-paid internship, complying with U.S. regulations. The program is designed to provide a real-world, educational experience that complements and enhances the student’s academic and career preparation.

Responsibilities

Assist in the creation and editing of engaging content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

Monitor social media accounts and respond to engagement in a timely and authentic manner.

Help in conducting social media audits to ensure best practices are being used.

Maintain the monthly social media calendar.

Analyze and report social media performance, providing actionable insights.

Aid in coordinating and executing the company’s digital marketing campaigns.

Participate in weekly team meetings and brainstorming sessions for creative content ideas.

Support the Communications Team in organizing and coordinating external communications.

Conduct research on latest trends in social media and digital communications.

Requirements

Current undergraduate or graduate student studying Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools.

Excellent writing and communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills.

Interest in philanthropy and social impact.
