We are constantly on a mission to add smart, innovative, and proactive team members, and are looking for a Site Merchandising Associate to come join our New York based headquarters.
The Role:
Reporting to the Site Merchandising Manager, the Site Merchandising Associate will be responsible for implementing the site merchandising strategy and direction to translate the product assortment online through a unified search and browse experience. The role requires to balance business objectives and broader consumer trends to increase conversion and sales. This person should be thoughtful and thorough in reviewing business opportunities, steering cross-functional teams to united objectives, and have a passion for product and best-in-class digital consumer experiences.
The primary focus of this role will be executing all configuration-related site updates including content execution across pages and navigation, product set up processes, promotional messaging/markdown updates, visual merchandising across all pages and creating optimal linking strategies both from internal and external traffic throughout the site. They will establish a robust Analytics framework to measure Site Merchandising success for campaigns helping the team to learn and iterate on Tommy John’s campaign execution process.
Responsibilities:
- Support in managing consistent master feed data and identify any inefficiencies/improvements within online platform for the product catalog, filters, feeds, and navigation
- Coordinate the setup of promotion & execute all promotion messaging across site (carousel messaging, product on-image badges, footer updates, etc.)
- Collaborate with Product Merchandising teams to identify and forecast consumer trends to help support upcoming campaign and product feature strategies
- Coordinate and execute linking strategy across the site (Navigation, Footer, Filters, etc.)
- Partner with Site Merchandising for all content updates online across homepage, landing pages, and PLPs for new seasonal assortments and campaign launches
- Conduct competitive analysis to ensure tommyjohn.com is staying up to date with industry trends
- Execution of product set up process with precision & attention to each detail (SKU detail, Price, Images, Copy description, size charts, Inventory, SEO description, facet values, Swatch, etc.)
- Execute routine site maintenance by inspecting all pages, products, navigation items, and key areas of the site on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and ease of use
- Partner with Marketing to optimize linking strategies across channels and campaigns
- Ensure product readiness (PDP's, inventory, copy and image, metadata) for product launches
- Support on PLP sequencing of all high to low trafficked pages on site based on key learnings, merchandising strategies, and personalized browsing experiences
- Execute Navigation and Category page creations to support newness and consumer shopping trends
- Analyze site metrics, KPIs and customer feedback to improve product placements and report findings on a weekly basis and as needed
Experience, Skills, & Attributes:
- Analytical & data-driven mindset with familiarity in Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience in using & managing visual merchandising/internal search tools

- Passion for eCommerce & improving the consumer experience
- Strong project & process management skills with attention to detail
- Great communications skills, both verbal and written
- Bachelor Degree or relevant experience within digital merchandising required
- Experience in using & managing online platforms (Shopify a plus)
- Great organizational skills; the ability to prioritize and multitask
