The Senior Vice President assists their branch's President with day-to-day operations. The SVP serves as a performance-driven leader and mentor to the branch, as an operations liaison for the company and as an industry ambassador for Associa and its strategic interests/objectives. The SVP works with the Branch President to develop and implement a variety of strategies to maximize profits while maintaining an acceptable level of quality. The Senior Vice President will provide oversight and guidance to their team, follow up on projects assigned to staff, and maintain knowledge and awareness of client needs. They also provide timely feedback and guidance for both their team and to fellow leaders on operations-related issues. This is accomplished by:
  • Leading the alignment of people, systems, process and culture in our integrated client delivery model
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Embodying Associa's Mission and Company Values
  • Motivating and empowering branch teams to achieve success, as measured via the Balanced Scorecard
  • Identifying organic and inorganic growth opportunities within the branch
  • Defining and implementing strategic direction
  • Assessing, selecting, and developing "raise the bar" talent
Requirements
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of company budget and monthly performance reporting
  • Knowledge of applicable state statutes
  • Florida Community Association Manager License (LCAM) Required
  • Project management at an expert level
  • Knowledge of sales and/or operations management
  • Bachelor’s degree Required
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at an expert level
  • 7 - 10 years of Management and/or Supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at an expert level
  • 10+ years of directly related or closely related experience
  • Professional customer service skills
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of Associa operating systems and programs preferred
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in business administration or related field, five plus years of continuous leadership experience in property management or a related service field; or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive employee and/or client inquiries or complaints. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to executive leadership, public groups, employees, vendors, homeowners and/ or boards of directors.
