About this Role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst with experience in application and report development. The ideal candidate will also have project management experience to be able to manage development tasks, schedules, and deadlines. They must have a strong background in requirements gathering, understanding business needs, and be able to translate those to technical specifications for the development team. Proficiency in learning new applications and back-end data models is needed for this role. This role requires a self-starter who possesses a skillset in learning new technologies, and with a keen interest in researching and finding solutions to difficult business problems. They should also be detail-oriented to document the problem statement, find solutions, and document business and technical specifications.

Prior experience in leading teams, managing customers, and delivering beyond client expectations is required.

This is a long-term contract role for about 30 hrs/week and can be done remotely. Success in this role will require self-learning and ability to self-research unknown topics. Open to full-time employment as an option at around the 6-month mark.

Responsibilities

• Lead meetings and present to large groups
• Research and find technical solutions to meet customer requirements
• Work with development team (offshore based) to discuss technical specs
• Work with several business teams to understand integration and reporting requirements for various applications and connection points
• Define schedules, timelines, deadlines for deliverables and discuss with business and development teams
• Manage the entire development life cycle, track progress and milestones
• Document business problem and requirements
• Manage product deployment
• Ability to work 30 hrs/week
• Document business and technical specifications
• Work with business teams to test new product and confirm requirements are met
• Test and validate the final product

Qualifications

• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• People skills with proven ability to drive teams to success
• Experience working with offshore teams and ability to manage a clear communication channel
• Experience managing customer expectations, and addressing escalations
• 5+ years in integration development, platforms such as tray.io, Zapier preferred
• 5+ years in Project management
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
• 8+ years in Enterprise applications - ERP (Sage Intacct), HR, CRM (Salesforce)
• Experience presenting status to senior leadership
• 8+ years in a Technical Business Analyst role, 10+ years preferred
