How You Make an Impact:

The Business Systems Analyst will have the opportunity to work on complex business problems leveraging our in-house data sources within a collaborative environment. This role will be responsible to support healthcare data initiatives by defining and documenting all product requirements, translating requirements into user stories to support overall solution design, and assist in process improvements for the product development lifecycle of a new product. This person will liaison and facilitate communication between stakeholders for requirements gathering and product feedback.

How You’ll Spend Your Day:

• Conduct business analysis and research on the data product to identify key metrics and opportunities for improvement
• Ensure business processes are running in accordance with development methodologies
• Communicate product capabilities and current state to internal and external stakeholders and facilitate discussions and buy ins
• Understand customer needs, ability to prioritize customer needs and work with multiple teams on implementation
• Develop processes and procedures to ensure business solutions meet strategic goals
• Collaborate with team members to collect, analyze, and evaluate information from multiple data sources including EHR, claims, mortality, etc.
• This is not an exhaustive list; other relevant duties and responsibilities may be assigned at the needs and discretion of the business.
• Consult with key stakeholders to determine business objectives and success factors
• Create requirements and specifications for real world data products with primary focus on the enterprise data product (EDP) portfolio and overall business solutions

What You’ll Need

• Must have strong SQL skills, relational databases, and basic computer science skills
• 4+ years as a Business Analyst working with healthcare data products
• Bachelor of Science in business administration, computer science or related business/technical field
• Experience working with EHR and/or oncology data

What Will Help You Excel?

• Data analysis skills – should be able to understand the data and results
• Experience with Agile Methodologies
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Cloud fundamentals with ability to develop and run queries on cloud platform – exposure/experience with Databricks
• Ability to work within ambiguity with ability to find and implement solutions without all the details
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), exposure to GxP validation is a plus
• Data visualization experience not required but preferred
• Must be able to write detailed user stories and translate information to multiple teams in different ways to ensure end-to-end understanding across various functions
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$77,800 - $129,600
