Job Description

If so, Hint, the #1 Flavored Water in the US, is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join our Foodservice team to oversee the Southwest region of the US. The ideal candidate has GPO relationships within Foodbuy and Aramark accounts and has sold into college & universities, restaurants, and has existing distributor relationships throughout Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Kansas.
You'll work with current and prospective key accounts & distributors in the Southwest to meet and exceed business plans and performance objectives. This person is an integral part of the sales organization and demonstrates strong sales,relationship, and prioritization skills, and has experience with local and/or nationally based customers. The Senior Sales Manager, Foodservice drives collaboration with local stakeholders, distributors & resources to execute programs to drive segment priorities, goals, and strategies.

This is an individual contributor role and ideally, candidates are located in or around Austin or Dallas, Texas or Denver, Colorado.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:
  • Deliver sales presentations to key customers including GPO member sales team
  • Provide Senior Director, Foodservice Sales with sales updates and provide subsequent action plans to attain growth targets.
  • Be a key contributor focusing on growth targets for both distributor and the foodservice sales team primarily in the West Coast region.
  • Propose and secure adapted delivery solutions with our distributor partners
  • Participate in team sales calls to highlight successes, discuss challenges and provide upcoming activities and needs.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time
  • Regularly reviews reporting and shares insights based on trends in the market.
  • Scout on a regular basis, new accounts to open. Map out & sell to different sub-channels (Non-commercial, K-12, Universities, Restaurants, Hospitality, Fitness Clubs, and Coffee Shops) within the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • A can-do attitude, highly motivated and innovative mindset
  • Prepare and present regular reviews for Hint manager and upper management highlighting execution against plan, year to date results and current opportunities and plans
  • Identify sales opportunities in all chains and channels
  • Ability to multitask and overcome obstacles
  • Understanding of business planning and marketing plan knowledge
  • Ability to cultivate growth using analytical skills while viewing financial data to evaluate the profitability of new opportunities
  • Display accountability along with the desire for personal growth and ownership
  • Manage customer engagement through CRM. Engagement to include all stages of the sales cycle and strategies to positively impact retention.
  • Prepare and present sales meetings to distributor division sales teams
Requirements
  • 3-5 years experience Distributor/supplier management; specifically, to foodservice
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Driven for results and able to handle complexity and change on the go
  • Polished Sales & Presentation Skills
  • Results-driven, Energetic & Proactive
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, CRM (reporting, presentations, correspondence)
  • Ability to coach/train/motivate/Influence
  • 4-year college degree prefered, but experience will be taken into consideration
  • Solid relationships in the market with key decision makers (Aramark or Foodbuy accounts, hotels, restaurants, colleges, etc.)
  • Analytical skills/strategic vision

  • The Base Salary range is $95,000 - $120,000. Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
