We're on the hunt for a dynamic National Account Manager to be a part of our team. The best part? This role is remote, so you can work from the comfort of your own space. All we ask is that you're located in a metro area near a major airport.
What's the Role?
Key Responsibilities
As a National Account Manager, you'll be the driving force behind managing and expanding our National Account business across all our operating companies. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of exciting activities:
Take the lead in managing sales and service responsibilities for our valued National Account customers. This includes collaborating with R&D, Marketing, QA, Operations, Supply Chain, and Purchasing teams.
Build and nurture strong relationships within your assigned accounts, including forging connections with senior-level corporate executives and company leaders.
Get creative! Develop and coordinate custom products that cater to the specific needs of our target customers.
Be the go-to expert on all things related to our company departments, including R&D, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning. You'll also need to keep a finger on the pulse of Market Conditions.
Put your negotiation skills to the test by strategically working on contracts and pricing programs within established parameters.
Set your sights on achieving business plans, goals, and MBO's, all while providing monthly activity reports.
Dive headfirst into our Demand Planning process, providing valuable business insights and collaborating with our Supply Chain team to review data and analytics.
Qualifications And Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree is a must, with a preference for those in Business Management or Food Science.
You bring at least 10 years of impressive sales experience in the Food Industry, with a special focus on Foodservice National Accounts.
Your knowledge of kitchen operations is extensive, coupled with a broad understanding of culinary applications.
Presentation skills? Check! You'll need to present market and commodity conditions with finesse.
Communication skills? Excellent! You're a pro at both written and spoken communication, plus you've got a knack for problem-solving and decision-making.
You're a highly motivated, self-directed individual who thrives in a fast-paced, independent work environment.
Leadership is in your DNA. You can cooperate, coordinate, direct, and inspire the productivity of others, all while leading cross-functional teams within the organization and key customers.
You're a master at prioritizing objectives, anticipating situations, and taking swift action.
Computer skills? Yep, you've got a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Be ready to hit the road! Expected travel for this role is around 30-40%.
