Job Summary
Maesa is currently seeking a senior-level Project Manager to lead execution of key change management projects across our supply chain (reformulations of existing products and/or movements of existing items between suppliers). The successful candidate will be a strategist, organizer, timeline-owner, facilitator, and collaborator, capable of building strong relationships and managing workflow amongst all cross-functional team members and external partners.
Pay Range:. $100,000/yr - $130,000/yr Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Create detailed project timelines and oversee timely execution of change initiatives
  • Validate accuracy of code and BOM updates in the system
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Orchestrate smooth transitions for product changes by working closely with packaging and supply planning to determine the correct time to activate/deactivate BOMs, transfer component inventory between suppliers, and ensure that vendors receive clear instructions from our planning team regarding which materials to use on any given job
  • Own the critical flow of communication between cross-functional team members on each project, including leading weekly project status meetings, creating agendas and recaps for those meetings, maintaining awareness of upcoming deadlines, sharing updates in project scope, and clearly communicating issues, action items, owners, and next steps on a regular basis
  • Hold internal teams accountable for meeting project milestones and escalate risks when necessary
  • Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to validate timeline assumptions and adjust them as the project parameters evolve
  • Actively work in partnership with cross-functional team members and external stakeholders to find solutions to any obstacles to project completion
  • Maintain tracker of all product changes in process across the organization, track KPIs, and lead regular reviews of project activity with leadership to give visibility and drive decision-making
Qualifications And Requirements
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to be clear and concise
  • Attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of supply chain, BOMs, and MRP systems
  • Experience in Cosmetics Industry mandatory
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn quickly and take on additional responsibilities when needed
  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders - will work across multiple regions, functions and with various levels including senior leadership
  • Ability to analyze data to drive insights and decisions. Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required
  • Solutions-oriented and results-driven
  • Capable of managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, escalating issues/roadblocks, driving resolution, and prioritizing deadlines within internal & external teams
