Supply Chain Technical Manager (Core It Manager)

JOB SUMMARY:

L’Occitane is in search of a Technical Manager to lead the operations for applications related to the IT landscape with focus on supply chain and retail in the North America affiliate. It involves OMS, WMS, ERP and retail systems. This person will be involved and working with Supply Chain, Retail, Ecommerce, CRM and Data areas for North America (USA, Canada, Mexico). Using agile methodologies, the goal is to enable the team to be efficient and autonomous, to bring the best value and make an impact. The Supply Chain Technical Manager will manage the Core IT domain from an end-to-end perspective: support & maintenance (Operate/Improve) and Transform (Innovate).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

With an agile mindset, the Supply Chain Technical Manager (Core IT) will be acting on the following, with the support of their team:

• Implement release management at regional level, working closely with all partners involved
• Manage the creation and execution of training plans as necessary
• Prepare and secure incident response and disaster recovery plans for the Core IT domain area
• Work with business partners to assess, challenge and decide on technical choices and software solutions for different initiatives
• Create project plans for all work tasks associated the implementation of new functionalities
• Play a leading role in enhancing our System Architecture and Service Model in the area of Supply Chain and Retail
• Implement maintenance processes and new functionalities within the Supply Chain and Retail system landscape including OMS (Manhattan Omni), WMS (Manhattan Scale), ERP (SAP) and Retail POS (Cegid)
• Partner with other IT leaders on initiatives around Omni-channel strategy
• Manage cross-functional teams (internal & external) associated with projects for any of the above systems
• Eases the work of the team, controls most impactful fields, measures and reports KPIs and communicate projects status to business and IT stakeholders.
• Act as a trainer and coach to immediate team members and ensuring lessons are learned from successes and failures
• Manage budget and priorities for the technical needs in supply chain and retail area

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Organize and monitor team
• Lead Core IT projects
• Reduce risk; cross train and share knowledge amongst team

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

• BS in Computer Science or related field

EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain and retail organization
• SAP and Cegid POS experience
• OMS and WMS experience is a must and preferable with Manhattan Associates software

SKILLS:

• Deep knowledge of Sales Order process, Replenishment process, Order Management and business processes in retail organization and their related systems
• Experience in a fast-paced international environment
• Very good project management skills with passion for working and advocating agile methodologies
• Strong knowledge of working with APIs (REST and SOAP), Windows Servers, SQL, DB management, EDIs, SAP
• Good leadership, time management and prioritization skills

PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able work in normal office conditions
• Some international travel may be required, less than 10%

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $130,000 for the NYC region (based on skills, experience and with differentials applied if outside of NY.)
