Senior Product Manager Jobs

At Bloomberg Government, we’re building one of the most innovative platforms in the government affairs industry at the federal, state, and local levels. We’re looking for a Product Management leader to drive the roadmap and delivery of our next generation government affairs platform. The focus for this role is a holistic one to ensure that Bloomberg is helping our customers grow their influence through more effective government interactions.

In this role, you will be expected to work closely with the design, data, and analytics to lead the research and discovery for the set of features and functionality that drive user engagement and help our customers get the most out of their Bloomberg Government experience. You will work closely with peers in engineering, sales, marketing and news to set priorities and build a roadmap that ensures a smart, ambitious product vision.

What you will do:

• Collaborate withsales, operations, marketing and project managementteams to ensure that all new opportunities are evaluated, tested and rolled out seamlessly
• Iterate with design and insights teams onresearch and market analysis to integrate new and innovate product requirements into roadmap that enhance user satisfaction
• Partner with the entire buildteam (design,engineering, product, data)to establish requirementsthat deliver the best possibleuser experience
• Engage withusersregularly to maintain expert level understanding oftheirbusiness and data visualization needsand howBloombergGovernment can best solve for them
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration and inclusion across all disciplines
• Remove product roadblocks
• Drive the overall product plan and roadmap for the government affairs platform in collaboration with the data intelligence team
• Define metrics and systems to track product performance. Clearly communicate performance and use data to evaluate and prioritize roadmap
• Report directly to the Director of Product Management and collaborate with all Bloomberg Government Affairs leadership to establish strategy and priorities for our platform and products
• Coach early career Product Managers to elevate their skills

You need to have:

• Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship
• Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
• Fluency with the challenges facing government affairs professionals
• Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
• Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
• 5+ years working on technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher
