In conjunction with the client manager this role will be responsible for developing and delivering the long-term travel technology strategy, translating this strategy into concrete business plans which deliver process efficiency and service enhancement for the designated client account.


The Travel Technology & Product Integration Manager, will be required to partner with the client, and, in the long term, their technology partners, to understand and agree to technical and service goals and work with internal GBT teams to provide suitable solutions to deliver on the joint strategy and goals.


The role will require strong process orientation, thought leadership and a collaborative approach to building and using strong customer and internal relationships. The Travel Technology & Product Integration Manager will have a solid grasp of tools and processes across all regions, specifically Concur online booking. They will demonstrate this knowledge to develop and deliver global operating consistency, where appropriate.


Accountabilities:


  • Provide consultation, industry expertise, travel technology coordination, integration and strategic planning support for future market implementation, program optimization and travel technology projects
  • Provide training and learning resources for both client associates and GBT teams supporting the business.
  • Delivery against key technology related metric targets such as online adoption, First Pass Yield (FPY), touchless, improvements in policy compliance and savings derived from Expert Auditor.
  • Proactively drive continuous improvements in the performance / functionality of the key technology systems.
  • Support the ongoing management of the critical travel technology tools for the client program, this includes but is not limited to Single Sign On (SSO) process management, HR feed integration, promotion of new functionality within the online tool and expense functionality etc.
  • Consultation and technical administration of online booking tool for agency and GDS configuration updates, technical integration, new market and/or new agency deployment
  • Lead delivery of agreed technology projects including but not limited to: GDS Change, OBT Change, Approval process updates, expansion of countries and additional testing
  • Serve as key point of contact for travel technology projects and solutions working in close collaboration with the Client and GBT project teams, key linkages, and authorities.


Qualifications:


  • Highly developed project and change management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully across cultures and regions and the ability to work with cross-functional teams and to influence both internally and externally.
  • Good understanding of global travel operations, suppliers, and systems.
  • Confident approach to presentations, client, and internal meetings.
  • Strong PC knowledge including related PowerPoint/Excel/ Microsoft Project/email skills.
  • Proven experience relating to the creation and delivery of business process strategies for large global clients.
  • Strong analytical problem solver combined with written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience and deep understanding of online bookings tools (primarily Concur).

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $140,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
