HEVO’s business model and products intersect with multiple customer segments including charge point operators (CPOs), charging networks, automakers, energy providers, and government agencies. HEVO is scaling the production of its Rezonant wireless chargers, preparing to launch its Journey mobile app, and positioning itself for rapid growth. Surveying and building the ecosystem of customers and partners, capturing customer-driven product requirements, and deploying and monetizing software-enabled business models are critical to bringing the company’s innovative products to market.
HEVO is seeking a passionate product leader with experience driving revenue growth, developing marketing channels, managing distribution partners, negotiating partnerships, and owning senior level relationships. This leader will report to the Senior Vice President of Software Engineering on a day-to-day basis and have regular engagement with our partners and customers. This role represents an opportunity to build and own the breadth of HEVO’s software products for EV charging.
The candidate will have an outstanding track record and reputation for delivering successful software products to the market, being the voice of the customer internally, defining requirements for an innovative product, driving agile product improvement, and leading teams with integrity. This person must be able to establish immediate credibility at all levels, inside and outside the organization.
Role
- Drive revenue and user growth, and partnerships for charging software
- Review verification processes, quality metrics, and manage product training
- Own the product lifecycle management from requirements to deployment
- Channel between customer and engineering team
- Customer success and relationship manager
- Senior level product lead for HEVO’s charging software portfolio
Responsibilities
Drive product requirements, charging partnerships, revenue, and develop customer relationships
- Identify ways to monetize software products
- Help develop materials and documentation for installers and customers
- Manage and market product releases and hot fixes
- Oversee proposals, RFIs, RFQs, and other charging customer procurement requirements
- Negotiate and secure OCPI roaming agreements
- Develop customer relationships by engaging with CPOs, auto OEMs, networks, fleets etc.
- Coordinate testing from Beta to ongoing UAT with internal/contracted support
- Partnering with UI/UX team to design intuitive, easy-to-use software products
- Create a product roadmap and define product requirements based on customer input
- Design and oversee customer success processes and systems
- Develop program for onboarding, training, and monitoring of partners
- Lead software product development lifecycle through agile process, planning sprints, grooming backlog, etc.
Oversee product launch, solicit customer feedback, and coordinate product training
- Define analytics for evaluating software usage and customer pain points
- Understand software development processes and establish product launch strategies.
- Perform competitive benchmarking of software products
- Communicate effectively with our userbase on product launches and solicit feedback
- Lead the product training for installers and customers
Qualifications
- Proficiency in product development processes and customer engagement
- EV charging product experience strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills
- Comfort with diverse sectors e.g., automotive, charging, government, utilities
- Passion for EV adoption and fossil fuel reduction
- BA/BS degree in engineering (SW/HW preferred)
- Knowledge in OCPP and OCPI protocols preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a product manager
- Strong knowledge in developing solutions involving Cloud-based Software, REST APIs, and Mobile App (iOS, Android)
- Software monetization experience
