We are thrilled to add a qualified Senior People Operations Generalist to our expanding business. You will be responsible for managing and administering all employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans and other employee benefits. You will also play a key role in building our leave management program to achieve optimal employee productivity and experience. This is a fantastic chance to have a significant influence on the direction of R365!

How you'll add value:

  • Monitor benefit plan designs and makes recommendations based on current trends, utilization, and effectiveness.
  • Evolve internal LOA, disability, STD/LTD programs to improve efficiencies.
  • Responsible for benefits administration, including resolving benefits-related issues and discrepancies, and serves as the point of contact for employees, managers, and vendors on benefits-related matters.
  • Administer People Operations functions, such as onboarding/offboarding, compensation administration, time off requests and recordkeeping.
  • Collaborate with the People Team on various project including benefit education, internal communications & events, training sessions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable government regulations, including timeliness and accuracy of required postings, documents, responses to requests, notifications, testing. etc.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with all employees balancing sense of urgency, professionalism, and genuine care.
  • Serve as the internal consultant and expert on LOAs and accommodations to guide and educate employees.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for annual review and renewal of all benefits programs.
  • Lead the benefits enrollment process, including annual Open Enrollment, and ongoing new hire enrollment.

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

  • Certifications such as PHR or SPHR
  • Ability to analyze complex benefit plans and information and identify issues.
  • Clear, effective written and verbal communication
  • HRIS experience – ADP experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Subject matter expert in local, state and federal rules and regulations for leave of absence and workers compensation including but not limited ADA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, USERRA, FEHA, FMLA, CFRA, PFL, STD, and LTD.
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Exhibit high level of confidentiality.
  • Outstanding customer service and ability to lead crucial conversations.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist or Benefits/LOA Specialist
  • SaaS company experience
  • Time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Detail oriented, with ability to think critically and problem solve using data.
  • Presentation skills
  • Excellent computer and technical skills including HRIS functional development, maintenance, troubleshooting and reporting; third party vendor systems and reporting; MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel required.
