Job Description


The Intel Global Communications Group is a global team of communications professionals spanning public relations, reputation management, corporate communications, executive communications, analyst relations, content, narrative, thought leadership and employee communications. We are searching for a senior executive communications manager who collaborates with our Chief Commercial Officer on the development and implementation of strategic communications platforms that advance Intel's corporate narrative. Specifically, this role will serve as a communications advisor and partner to Intel's Chief Commercial Officer and will help him drive a clear narrative with key audiences internally and externally.

The senior manager will work cross-functionally with an integrated team across the Executive Office, Sales, Marketing, Corporate Planning, Intel business units, Public Relations, Investor Relations, Analyst Relations, Employee communications and Speaker Bureau. The senior manager will develop and coordinate the executive's internal and external visibility plan and oversee the execution of recommended deliverables.

Candidates must be experienced communications strategist who has previously worked for a large, complex organization with C-level executives. Experience overseeing communications for executives leading sales function in large companies is a plus but not required. Candidates must possess clear executive presence, the ability to develop and execute creative, successful communications strategies, and strong writing skills across a variety of communications channels.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Partner closely with the Chief Commercial Officer's executive office, Sales, Marketing and Communications teams to develop executive platform, messaging, and integrated communications strategy to reach internal and external audiences.
  • Lead the development of communications materials, including speeches, editorials, videos, social media posts, memos, contributed articles, talking points and more.
  • Make day-to-day recommendations and be the executives' voice for internal and externally facing communications.
  • Drive internal engagement and change management communications strategy in collaboration with Employee Engagement team.
  • Maintain and build extensive relationships with team members, stakeholders within a variety of business units across Intel.
  • Serve as a trusted communications advisor and partner to Intel's Chief Commercial Officer to support communications goals and strategies.
  • Screening and recommendation of executive thought leadership and speaking opportunities. Recommendation of target external media, analysts and influencers for relationship building.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong organization, program management and content development skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet milestones, meet right deadlines and communicate status on concurrent projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work across teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the demonstrated ability to turn complex ideas into stories easily understood by a broad audience
  • Demonstrated willingness to work with and influence senior executives, providing positioning counsel and executing with a sense of urgency
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the maturity to interact comfortably with a vast spectrum of hierarchy within the function.
  • Knowledge of technology trends, economic and market issues a plus flexible and resilient problem solver with the ability to build broad-based consensus and manage sensitive situations


Qualifications


You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Journalism, Communications or related field or related experience like the one above.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience working on strategic communications like: Executive Communications, Internal communications, Employee communications, Corporate communications, technology communications, Leader communications, Sales communications, Public relations or related fields.

Prefer Qualifications:

  • Experience working with C-level executives.
  • Experience working on strategic communications for large, complex organizations.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $136,750.00-$232,630.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
