JOB DESCRIPTION


The assistant to Marketing + Creative Director that takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, is HIGHLY organized and able to prioritize all tasks effectively and efficiently, and has the ability to bring calm to chaos. This individual will act as a liaison with team members and business associates. Ideal candidate will work closely with our chief creative and marketing director and marketing managers to be an absolute rockstar, and will be an expert at managing schedules and maximizing the effectiveness of the creative and marketing directors time. Acting as a liaison between chief creative and marketing director and all team members, clients, and 3rd party vendors. As the executive marketing assistant you are essentially the eyes and ears of the chief marketing and creative director as well as the voice when not present.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct market research to stay up to date with best practices and emerging trends
  • Recommend new influencers that meet brand goals
  • Must live in central Los Angeles and own a reliable vehicle
  • Work alongside the Marketing Director and Marketing Managers to support the development of new relationships
  • Ability to create polished and thorough client proposals and presentations.
  • Ability to take notes and retain information
  • PROACTIVELY anticipate the needs of the team lead before they arise.
  • Other duties and Personal tasks and errands as assigned
  • Must as well be versed in all social platforms and able to manage and ideate posts for the CMO
  • Essentially act and respond as the conduit between our Chief Creative and Marketing Director and Everyone else from Partners, Team Members, Contractors and Clients. You are his voice and response
  • Prioritize inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; make judgments and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other communications
  • Detailed note-taking through company meetings and client conference calls ending with clear team actionables.
  • Handle personal task and assignments for chief marketing and creative director as they arise
  • Craft innovative/advantageous partnerships with social media influencers/content creators who can drive orders, spread positive word of mouth, and increase overall brand reach
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Arrange travel and accommodations for executives.
  • Must be social media-driven with a DEEP knowledge of Instagram and TikTok.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Implement strategic calendaring/scheduling.
  • Coordination of creative resources including photographers/ videographers and other 3rd party personnel hired to help create content
  • Collaborate with staff, other administrators, internal and external contractors, and senior management
  • Strategize with the Director of Digital Marketing and the marketing team to ensure partnerships are driving results
  • 24/7 Availability through mobile, voice, sms, and email
  • Expert with excel and/or google sheets and formula usage
  • Full production capabilities of photo and video shoots.
  • Understand the ecommerce and DTC landscape and functionalities of running brands
  • Help screen and manage emails. Receive incoming communication on behalf of the team lead, review mail, determine importance, and summarize and/or distribute contents to appropriate staff.
  • Support management of influencers to ensure all products are shipped, deliverables are met, content is delivered, ensure campaign and messaging are executed correctly and on time, and optimize strategy when necessary
  • Writing of creative briefs and content outlines to manage the creative process both internally and with creators/ambassadors
