Senior Manager, Community Sports Marketing Manager

As the Senior Manager, Community Sports Marketing Manager you'll be responsible for driving awareness, affinity, and advocacy for YETI within the Sports, Fitness, and Health & Wellness industries. In this role you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with sports teams, leagues, fitness, and health & wellness professionals and athletes. You are a highly motivated marketer with a deep personal passion for all things sports and fitness. You've got a keen sense of sports marketing, media buys, and sports marketing strategies. You love making connections and understand the network in the sports and fitness communities. You thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments, and aren't afraid to take initiative and run with projects with varying levels of direction.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and executive YETI's sports partnership strategies for the US in addition to partnering with global teams
• Strategize around new business opportunities and understand any shifts in the influencer circuits
• Active outreach and communication in-person or over phone/email to relevant individuals and groups in the dedicated community
• Provide necessary intel for YETI on any major trends within the community
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
• Work closely with the marketing team to create campaigns and content pertaining to sports
• Handle day-to-day needs of partner relationships within the community, and assist with production and staffing of consumer-facing events on behalf of the YETI brand
• Internal consultant for the broader marketing team as it pertains to the sports industry
• Ensure YETI maintains relevance and authenticity in the community
• Align, service, and maintain day-to-day relationships with key sports, fitness, and health & wellness brand partners, ambassadors, and influencers

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Goal oriented with high standards for excellence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• At least 8 years of experience in sports marketing with a deep understanding of sports media buys, partnerships, sponsorship, and athlete contract management
• The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize travel and time in the field within regular department workflow
• Strong time management skills
• A bachelor's degree is preferred
• At least 4 years of experience managing and developing marketing professionals
• You must be able to handle and manage multiple relationships with influencers and partners with the highest level of customer service

US Workplace Approach:

• Onsite: Role requires you to be onsite full-time.
• Hybrid: Role requires you to be located in Austin, Texas and is a mixture of onsite and remote.
• Remote: Role is full-time remote.
