The Sr. Learning Experience Manger should have a proven track record in technical and graphical design to create eLearning programs, cohesive learning curriculum, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, implementing small and large-scale learning solutions in a cross-functioning team to create consistency.
The Sr. Learning Experience Manger will work on a team of Instructional Designers and the platform team to ensure that content deliverables are strategically aligned to the business needs and that all learning solutions are reflect the design quality and standards of an industry leading learning team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learning Platform
- Support communication to customers of content changes or updates.
- Coordinate testing of all new functionality and content within learning platform. Identify issues and suggest/implement resolutions.
- Ensure consistent compliance with operational standards and drive continuous operational performance improvement.
- Load, validate and manage learner’s registrations, enrollments, and access/permissions.
- Apply content management, version control and back-up procedures using eLearning technologies and tools.
- Maintain process documentation and updates as changes to the process are made.
- Routinely identify, assess, and develop mitigation plans for events that could impact the success of the program
- Create and manage standard and custom reports from the learning platform.
- Management and maintenance of content objects in internal systems for access by content development teams.
- Support Leadership vision and assist with developing LMS Migration platform strategy
- Organization and maintenance of learning content objects including the organization, cataloging and deployment of eLearning content objects for client consumption through the Learning Management System and/or other learning platforms.
- Work on the migration and implementation of a Learning Management System which provides training and enablement to sellers, Partners and Customers
- Collaboration with internal teams, external teams, and management to ensure achievable deadlines/milestones are established, requirements are being met, and projects are kept on schedule.
- Creatively apply user-centric design and business and organizational insight to develop and oversee the development of innovative and design-forward training solutions that provide value to agents and brokers and drive adoption of learning and products, including eLearning courses, live or virtual training materials, job aids, and video tutorials.
- Apply design principles to develop a standardized and scalable style guide as the reference point regarding course design, technologies, and delivery options in a variety of learning scenarios: live, virtual, elearning, webinars, conference materials and more.
- Identify the wants and needs of various stakeholders and present points of view that persuade others to shift their thinking and action to enable them to achieve their desired learning objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- XML, JavaScript, AICC and SCORM compliance standards and integration processes highly desired.
- Exposure or working knowledge of Course Authoring Tools (Articulate, Captivate, Canva) a plus.
- Effective and creative in solving problems with an ability to identify issues and resolve, or identify the internal resources needed to assist
- Exposure or knowledge of Cornerstone On Demand, Kaltura, and Zoom platforms a plus
- Microsoft Office experience, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge highly desired.
- This position is 100% remote but will require East Coast hours to be worked.
- Subject matter expertise in enablement/Education functions and knowledge of LMS taxonomy
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation communication skills with individuals at all levels in business.
- Ability to travel as needed (approximately 5%).
- Manage high stress situations and strong personalities while maintaining poise and multitasking under pressure
- Minimum 7 years in learning platform administration and/or HTML/CSS experience preferred.
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics on learning technologies evaluating ROI, required.
- Experience in leading an LMS migration/implementation, preferably Cornerstone
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously; follow through on issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Effective and creative in solving problems with an ability to identify issues and resolve, or identify the internal resources needed to assist
- Ability to work independently.
- Must be able to handle many tasks at once and effectively collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
