Role Summary/Purpose

This role is responsible for executing strategic sourcing activities across all aspects of GE Vernova’s Fleet Category Management spend with the goal to achieve significant initial cost reductions and year-over-year continuous improvement while maintaining or improving supplier quality and service levels. The role provides support in building a team of best-in-class talent and fostering an environment of strong collaboration and engagement. This role will establish relationships by building trust with internal and external stakeholders and developing and executing strategies to meet business outcomes. This role is responsible for Supplier Management and Performance Monitoring related to Fleet category spend, including Fleet Management Companies (FMCs), vehicle OEMs, and other fleet providers. This person should establish and lead strategic sourcing activities in this category to include category strategy and MSA/MLA ownership. This role will require coordination with the Business Unit Category Management teams to ensure a cohesive global strategy, coordinating sourcing efforts and policy, and executing initiatives. Partnerships with GE functional stakeholders in Business and Segment Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain, and other functions to drive total cost efficiency (TCE) are critical to enable the team to deliver excellent service levels to the organization.

Essential Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR Operations and Total Rewards to align Fleet offerings to the Company Car Policy and business needs
• Collaborate with Sustainability teams on Fleet electrification to help meet GE Vernova’s carbon neutrality targets
• Develop and execute strategies within the assigned spend category
• Drive benchmarking, best practices, and continuous improvement
• Manage corporate sourcing process end-to-end, including hedging strategy and trigger points within the assigned spend category
• Ensure cross-functional reporting from Fleet suppliers to Lease accounting and Sustainability teams
• Partner with Buy-to-Pay teams to ensure on-time payment to the FMCs or other Fleet suppliers
• Lead development of best-in-class analytics specifically related to the assigned spend category
• Lead and manage multi-functional stakeholder teams on specific strategic sourcing initiatives or projects to ensure benefit realization and drive value through supplier relationship management within the assigned spend category
• Build and own the relationship with Fleet Management Companies (FMCs), vehicle OEMs and other fleet suppliers (upfitters, dealers, and other service providers)

Qualifications/Requirements

• Significant experience in Sourcing, Operations, or equivalent experience related to Fleet management or equipment leasing
• For roles not in USA, this role requires significant experience comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
• Strong experience within the assigned spend category
• For roles in USA, this role requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with significant experience in job family group/function), or equivalent experience/ knowledge
• Demonstrated ability in leading organizational, process, and culture change

If contracted in the United States:

The salary range for this position is 101,300.00 - 168,800.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 15% variable incentive bonus.
