Honeywell Corporate GPMO is now hiring an experienced Senior Program Director, Global Project Management Office (GPMO). The Senior Program Director is responsible for overseeing all activities required to support the transformation and execution needs of our diverse Program and Project Management process, systems, and tools. You will be a key contributor in the cross SBG Global Project Management Office (GPMO) creation of Honeywell wide standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide Corp GPMO team to deliver and develop and retain internal talent through coaching, mentorship, and performance development plans
- Identify and report Project Portfolio non-compliance
- Align, deploy, execute, manage, and monitor Project Portfolio tools/dashboards and drive adoption of tools/dashboards
- Represent and lead the Corp GPMO as needed in GPMO activities (Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs), workshops, GPMO Day, PMO Day etc.)
- Drive cross-functional business alignment, engagement, readiness, and accountability
- Assess and execute strategy to improve organizational capabilities and drive performance
- Be the Program Manager and Change Management Champion with the Corp GPMO Leader to manage the GPMO Operational and Transformational activities, enabling standardized and digitized business and functional processes to drive consistent and results driven outcomes that will cover: Global Design Models, standard work and processes, operational playbooks and dashboards, Digital and technology platforms, and Learning platforms. This role will be a Game Changer / Future Shaper to optimize the overall business model and financial performance across the GPMO busines.
- Align and lead GPMO digital, financial, operational, and people priorities
- Define, align, maintain, monitor, and communicate the Standard Operating Procedures across the GPMO that meet the requirements as defined by Corp and/or SBGs
- Collaborate with Project Controls Functional Excellence team to ensure integration of processes
- Lead efforts to continuously improve our global program management/controllership work processes and policies, tools, and best practices
- Focus on building a world-class end-to-end PM process, utilizing and deploying PMP and Lean Six Sigma techniques, driving continuous improvement activities, and achievement of superior performance across all KPIs for GPMO and GDMs
- Engage and partner with the CTO, Corp GPMO, and functional Leads, cross SBG Leadership, Program Manager and Program Controller Leadership to ensure work processes, and Management Operating Systems (MOS) are in place to support GPMO consistently and effectively
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a people leader of global teams
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time, including international
- Minimum 10 years of experience in program management, technical leadership, or portfolio management
