Job Details

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

• Skillfully balance costs and value to effectively meet customer demands.
• Accountable for the financial performance of a designated product line / value stream, overseeing revenue growth (Bookings and Sales), and ensuring customer satisfaction through monitoring Cost, Quality, and Delivery.
• Lead a diverse team comprising Engineers, Program Managers, Business Managers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and Bid & Proposal Teams as required, ensuring adherence to critical business processes like Opportunity Development Tool (ODT), New Product Introduction (NPI), Design to Cost (DTC), Program Management Review (PMR), Strategy Deployment (SD), and other essential processes.
• Hold the responsibility for developing and maintaining a highly skilled workforce, proactively implementing development plans for staff to optimize their potential.
• Foster a comprehensive understanding of customers' business, technology strategies, industry trends, competitor strategies, and compliance with legal and regulatory practices.
• Execute any additional tasks assigned by supervisors or management.

Education & Experience

• 5+ years of managing/supervising value streams, functional areas, or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience in Aerospace or in a related technical environment
• Knowledge of managing to budgets, OPEX leadership, SDP Implementation, and Aerospace/relevant industry knowledge
• IC development and staffing; Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures; Program Management; Negotiating; Communication; Analytical skills to support business planning and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex aerospace proposals/contracts and the ability to interact with all levels of management in a professional manner, both internally and externally. Build and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels.
