The Senior Manager Business Development is a self starter who wants to make a big difference in communities by sharing and promoting Rippl’s mission and care model, bringing behavioral health services to our senior population.The ideal candidate will bring a book of business, and develop and maintain strategic relationships with hospital systems, long term care, home health teams and more. This is a great opportunity for someone who is excited about being part of the early stages of growing a business, who seeks career growth, and really cares about making a huge difference with the senior population.

The Role:

  • Travel as needed to maintain strategic relationships and partnerships
  • Maintain current knowledge of healthcare standards and best practices in the care referral community
  • Familiarity with WA state ACOs, their business practices and the ability to integrate services into value-based care programs
  • Routinely interact with partners, patients, family members, caregivers, community providers/referral sources, case managers and other third-party resources
  • Assist with marketing and public relations efforts, as assigned, and perform outreach functions including attending health fairs, community events, and other activities, as required
  • Build and develop a pipeline of new clinical partners focusing on large-scale provider groups, health systems and facilities that support senior populations
  • Establish new partnerships through community outreach both in person and virtually through effective communications with community providers, long-term care communities, health systems and care teams that support seniors with dementia
  • Collaborate with team members on presentations and projects
  • Collect critical information for proposal preparation. Understand the proposal process and provide positive input.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Strong organizational, time management and execution skills required
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations within health system, payer and PCP settings
  • Experience structuring win-win partnerships and leading the integration process including:
  • Ability to work on multiple activities and tasks concurrently
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills, Communication and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Interest in understanding, reshaping and being a subject matter expert on how Rippl delivers value and makes impact
  • Local and regional travel required
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and nurture relationships
  • Experience presenting to C-suite executives and tactically developing programs and integrations to support external partnership business practices.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed
  • Familiarity with payer business cycles and products including current industry standards for value based care initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with legal, compliance, business and other teams to structure novel partnerships

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or work experience equivalent (Marketing or related health or social services field preferred)
  • Minimum 8-10 years experience in healthcare sales, marketing, customer service or account management and strategic integration
  • Expert communication skills and demonstrated expertise and comfort with public speaking
  • 5-7 years or more working in behavioral health, telehealth or hospital system a plus
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to an automobile
  • Required experience with health system or payer industry
  • Proven track record of health system integrations and sales

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Role: $80,000-$115,000

Bonus - Opportunity to earn up to 15% of total compensation
