Job Summary:

Polycam, the world’s most popular 3D scanning app, is seeking an experienced brand marketer to lead the awareness stage of the growth funnel. The Senior Brand Marketing Manager will collaborate across the organization, including with our Engineering and Design teams, using analytics to inform prioritized decisions and drive execution in alignment with Polycam’s strategic goals. This role will report to Polycam’s Growth Lead.

The ideal candidate will help transform the way we bring the Polycam brand to market by driving awareness and building loyalty through marketing campaigns, increasing feature adoption, growing our community and social media presence, and nurturing referrals.

This person demonstrates broad and deep thinking and will both define and execute brand strategy, campaigns, and experiences. They will champion engaging, fresh ideas that puts Polycam at the top of mind for users.

To be successful in this role, they should have a solid understanding of brand and advertising strategy and experience writing creative briefs, executing, and optimizing top of the funnel creative campaigns. They are a strong communicator and collaborator who thrives in a flat organization that operates remotely.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Grow referrals
  • Identifies and develops a set of KPIs to measure effectiveness of brand and product marketing campaigns.
  • Leads product launches that support and are consistent with marketing and brand objectives.
  • Drive top of the funnel marketing campaigns
  • Increase brand awareness
  • Develop and execute on the strategy for growing referrals, word-of-mouth, and affiliate marketing.
  • Crafts the brand strategy, product positioning and messaging, and identifies target audiences.
  • Develops the creative strategy and manages marketing campaigns across channels including digital advertising, email marketing, social media, and more.
  • Uses market research to identify opportunities for growth and gain an understanding of our target audience.
  • Develops the strategy to grow and nurture our social media presence and community.
  • Establishes a consistent, differentiated and scalable brand to establish Polycam as an industry thought leader.

  • The ideal candidate will be:
  • Conduct deep dives into marketing budget allocation and individual marketing channel strategies and performance to generate actionable insight and identify opportunities for continued improvement.
  • Derive insights, recommendations, and action plans from quantitative and qualitative market trends, consumer feedback, and large data sets.
  • Reduce inefficiencies through continuous process improvements.
  • Able to develop new approaches to complex problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Motivated by growth and brand development
  • Ability to be hands-on managing our social media accounts and community.


Education and Experience:

  • At least six years of professional experience in growth and digital marketing with real and consistent results within highly data-driven organizations.
  • Experience working on branding at an early-stage start-up with the ability to thoughtfully approach a limited budget.
  • Team and/or stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience working on a company rebrand is a plus.
  • Experience establishing, growing, and managing social media channels and growing digital communities.
  • Experience working autonomously in a remote environment.
  • Experience building and scaling affiliate marketing and referrals is preferred.
  • Experience working for a mobile creator app with a consumer creator community is a plus.
  • Direct experience drafting and executing strategies for developing brand awareness.
  • Experience working across multiple digital channels and engagement platforms is required. Experience with Braze is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Experience with a B2C software startup.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
