THE TEAM
The Ticketmaster creative team helps to craft the voice and visual identity of the company for fans and business clients alike. As part of the marketing organization, we work closely with brand, category management, partnerships, SEO and other teams to produce various campaigns across music, sports, and arts and theater.
THE JOB
This position sits on the Marketing Design team, and will be primarily focused on creating fan facing creative across digital channels and types of events. From social and display, to email and out of home, this person will collaborate with other designers, copywriters, and stakeholders to craft visual communications for fans.
The events these communications support vary from events in the sports, concerts, arts & theater, and more. This role is the great opportunity for somebody who has a passion for live entertainment and prides themselves on having their finger on the pulse of current design trends.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Work on a variety of projects from fan-focused to client-focused campaigns
- Create visuals for various media and specs, including (but not limited to): social platforms, web, mobile, internal presentations, display banners, email campaigns, out-of-home signage and more
- Design campaign assets spanning across sports, music, theater, and more
- Provide end-to-end design support. From conceptualization and creative development through fine tuning and final delivery
- Juggle multiple projects at once and effectively prioritize, communicate progress and obstacles, and effectively manage your time
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
- Demonstrable experience leading designers on a variety of project types.
- An attention to detail spanning from easing keyframes to naming your layers to version controlling your files
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design/Marketing or equivalent work experience
- Understanding of storytelling in graphic design
- Street smarts; willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meet team goals.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team and with other departments
- 7+ years related professional experience
- Awesome attitude and a passion for live entertainment.
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite for Mac - expert level in Photoshop and Illustrator
- Compelling multi-disciplinary design portfolio

The expected compensation for this position in California is:
$67,000.00 USD - $84,000.00 USD
