Instructional Designer - Remote

Job Summary: Looking to build upon your track record as an Instructional Designer in a thriving segment of the financial services industry? Driven Insights, a progressive, rapidly growing outsourced accounting firm, seeks a seasoned Instructional Designer to work with our Learning and Development department to create engaging and effective learning experiences.

Projected Hours: 10-20 hours/per week

Location: Work from Home

Role: Instructional Designer - Contract position

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the effective integration of various media elements into the learning materials.
• Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, assessments, and other learning resources.
• Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to identify learning needs, goals, and performance gaps.
• Utilize instructional technologies and authoring tools to develop multimedia-rich content, incorporating graphics, videos, simulations, and interactive elements as appropriate.

Required Skills And Abilities

• Familiarity with graphic design principles and ability to work collaboratively with multimedia specialists and graphic designers.
• Proficiency in using authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), and multimedia software to create interactive and engaging learning experiences.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and instructional technologies.
• Proven experience as an instructional designer or in a similar role, designing and developing instructional materials for a variety of delivery methods (e.g., e-learning, instructor-led training).
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
