Senior Analyst: Program Lead

What you’ll do:

The Sr. Analyst leads experiential learning and coaching programs to empower researchers, scientists and entrepreneurs to leverage human-centered design, agile and lean startup business practices to improve the potential success of their ideas, de-risk future investment and commercialize new ventures.

Typical work includes:

• Manage client engagements, calls/meetings to include set up, taking minutes, and managing follow-ups
• Design and develop presentations, reports and content using ppt and other creative software (beautiful.ai, canva, etc.)
• Coach and present human-centered design, agile/lean processes and company formation/funding/scaling strategies with a specific focus on deep-tech commercialization
• Support multi-tiered entrepreneurship education and coaching programs that have a major impact on the success of commercializing research and innovation within the government labs and other organizations
• Manage project plans, stay extremely organized and focused on details of program execution
• Execute the backend of workshops, webinars, and ecosystem (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Hivebrite, Gatheround, etc.)

Successful Candidates:

• Extremely strong program management skills, including relevant software tools (e.g., excel, asana, forecast, ppt, airtable, etc.)
• Relentlessly drives towards action (testing, measuring, iterating)
• PMP, Six Sigma, or Scrum certifications are a plus
• Existing network of innovation leaders and organizations in the Southern California region and internationally. Ability to build strong relationships with a diverse set of people.
• Master’s Degree with 3+ years or bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in relevant industries including entrepreneurship or entrepreneurial support organizations, innovation/incubator/studio/accelerator programs, management consulting.
• Strong experience with the needs of early-stage technology-oriented ventures and/or innovation at large organizations. Expert-level communication (oral and written) skills with ability to present to multiple audiences.

Location:

Commuting distance or residence in the Inland Empire, CA region is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range: 65,000-85,000 per year

Flexible. Upside in bonus, rapid career progression, and ability to earn equity.

Travel Required: Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally is required (~10%-30%).
