Job Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst drives the enterprise’s annual budgeting process, monthly and quarterly financial reporting including variance and trend analyses, quarterly financial forecasting, long-term financial modeling, capital expenditure analysis and control, and ad-hoc analysis. The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team acts as the analytical and business intelligence engine of the enterprise by providing relevant and actionable information and insights to support decision-making. This position reports to the Director of FP&A and will have opportunities to lead and train other team members.
Responsibilities

• Leads and trains new team members
• Creates predictive models and analyses to support organizational decision making
• Project manages monthly close and reporting process
• Spearheads the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
• Develops, maintains, and distributes ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
• Produces monthly financial reports, decks, and dashboards for organizational leaders (including key performance metrics, financial results, and variance reporting)
• Develops new processes, automated reporting, and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
• Analyzes historical and current financial and business data to understand the company’s status
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation
• Analyzes processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins
• Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends

Requirements

• Strategic thinking and organizational skills
• Ability to work with large datasets
• Proven analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with planning, accounting, and BI applications
• Strive for high customer satisfaction, going out of the way to be helpful and pleasant
• Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance or related field
• Excellent project management and time management
• Ability to work respectfully and cooperatively with diverse group of individuals from a variety of educational, social and economic backgrounds
• Excellent reporting, presenting and communication skills
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or other related fields
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail required
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling

Salary Description
$90,000-105,000
