Job Description

Description:

Reporting for pharmacy micro-fulfillment sites.

Will analysis and illustrate it in Power Point to tell the story of what is happening in the business for these sites.

Resource will work closely and cross functionally with individuals to obtain the data

Providing technical analytics to support Pharmacy Micro-fulfillment center initiative.

Provides operational recommendations based on those analytics. collecting and analyzing performance data and developing business performance reports and analysis that support key decision making.

Creating and managing various database structures and analytics websites to collect analyze and disseminate operational data.

Defining, designing, building, and preparing daily, weekly, monthly, user customizable, and adhoc operations reports and analysis for key operational metrics.

Acts independently to go beyond the request and anticipate the current or future needs of the request to add value or increase functionality/ease of use.

Provides assistance to other analysts on the team.

Researches, analyzes, and explains current and past activity, expected trends, and potential effect of change.

Presents and supports findings and recommendations to various management levels within the organization.

Develops and reports on highly granular metrics that require an in-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations and internal systems such as Intercom Plus and SIMS.

Evaluates data collected and identifies and interprets trends.

Based on findings, prepares and communicates results and recommendations to various levels of senior management.

Ensures accuracy of all reported data by continually reviewing and analyzing current sources, processes, and systems functions.

Prepares graphs, spreadsheets, reports, and Power Point presentations as required.

Serves as a subject matter expert on pharmacy performance metrics analysis, design, development, and the execution of queries, business reports and dashboards.

Uses statistical methodologies to describe and model behaviors, transaction volumes, and performance measures.

Responsible for creating and maintaining databases, spreadsheets, interactive self-service reporting web front ends, and other tracking mechanisms.

Continually reviews and analyzes data maintenance processes to enhance data integrity/redundancy and maximize usage of available resources.

Collaborates with internal departments to initiate/implement improvements and efficiencies related to analytics needs.

Creates and maintains tools that will automate analytics, such as web based reporting.

Establishes reporting standards and criteria and maintains data and reporting integrity.

Defines and develops requirements for reporting to all levels within the management structure, and methodology for calculations for metrics and/or analysis.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical/quantitative field, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Economics, etc. at least 3 years of experience in an analytical or pharmacy role; OR

High School Diploma/GED and at least 6 years of experience in an analytical or pharmacy role.

Knowledge of Pharmacy and/or Pharmacy applications is a plus

Prior experience with supply chain is a plus

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience

Analytics and problem solving, querying databases, troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions,

Time management skills to meet multiple project deadlines, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.

Advanced Microsoft Excel (VB macros, nested if statements and other complex functions, advanced pivot table skills, etc.
