Sr Sap Ariba Business System Analyst (Us Remote Available)

What will you be doing?

As a SAP Ariba Senior BSA, you will be part of the core team that is responsible for designing, building and maintaining the SAP Ariba upstream (Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Performance (SLP) / Sourcing / Contract / Risk) / downstream (Buying & Invoicing) modules and related technologies supporting the Source to Pay organizations. You will work with Business and IT partners, vendors, use keen business process understanding, appreciation for simplicity and quality, out of the box thinking, and a bit of elbow grease to build holistic solutions that meet business and technology objectives while furthering Splunk’s long-range goals.

Who You Are & What Makes You Qualified:

• Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives
• Document functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases
• Providing support to business as they migrate suppliers to Ariba, to include configuration, testing of processes and solving issues
• Lead UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff
• Work with Development/QA teams to build/test the solution.
• You will evaluate potential new applications and solutions against business requirements, ensuring they are aligned to broader architectural and security standards and that they meet tactical and strategic objectives.
• Create and present functional and technical design including data analysis to business team, and seek feedback to influence solution design and approach
• Work very closely with Sourcing/Procurement and internal IT operations team to understand the business requirements and then partner closely with IT development teams and design solutions
• Build proofs-of-concept (POC) for potential new solutions and technology
• Demonstrate business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements
• Preparation of user documentation and training documentation as necessary
• You will also collaborate with a global hybrid team of business analysts and engineers supporting production applications and maintenance of 24x7 applications in a SOX compliant environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrate deep functional knowledge of the Ariba modules: SLP, Sourcing, Contracts, Buying & Invoicing and Risk. Ariba CIG knowledge experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to influence the partners
• Hands-on functional configuration and design experience in SAP Ariba upstream/downstream modules is a must and SAP S/4 systems experience is preferred but not required.
• Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills and quick learner of new technologies.
• Exposure to other finance business process areas including OTC, GL Accounting, AR, Tax is a plus.
• Deep experience and expertise in translating business requirements and processes into low friction automation and high impact solutions
• BS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience is preferred
• Highly motivated and self driven, with keen attention to detail and work in a dynamic, fast paced, fast growing company where flexibility is imperative.
• Drive standard business processes and solutions.
• At least 8 to 10 years of experience as a Source to Pay Senior BSA in SAP Ariba.
• Ability to interact with all levels of business users

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $129,600.00 - 178,200.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $116,000.00 - 159,500.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
