About The Role

As a Senior Marketing Manager at Salesforce Ventures, you will lead marketing programs that support Salesforce Ventures, our investment team, and our portfolio companies. You will be responsible for initiatives within our brand and content programs with a focus on content distribution and development for Salesforce Ventures.

As a member of the Salesforce Ventures Marketing team, you will work with key collaborators to develop and implement marketing initiatives to elevate our brand, drive awareness, and delight our portfolio companies & customers.

Responsibilities

• Identify campaign opportunities relevant to Salesforce Ventures audiences.
• Lead production of monthly newsletter and be responsible for promotion and growth.
• Maintain brand and portfolio assets including website and templates.
• Lead content creation & distribution strategy for global Salesforce Ventures program. Maintain an ongoing editorial calendar with input from relevant collaborator groups.
• Develop unique and engaging social media campaigns using a variety of content types including copy, graphics, photography, and video.
• Partner with PR team to manage new portfolio company onboarding process and using PR activities for content programs.
• Run social media channels (Twitter & LinkedIn) and adjust channel goals and standard processes as needed to maintain growth and high engagement.

Professional Experience/Skills Required

• 5-7 years of professional experience in social media, content marketing, digital marketing, and/or communications-related fields, ideally in the tech space. Venture experience is a plus.
• Proactive and hard-working, with a get things done attitude.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Proven track record developing engaging and on-brand social media content, with examples to show.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word),Google Apps, Email Marketing tools, Canva and/or Photoshop.
• Be willing to adapt and flex as our team's needs and priorities evolve. Things move fast at Salesforce Ventures!
• Experience working collaboratively across a global organization as well as outside partners, vendors, and agencies.
• Hands-on knowledge of social media platforms; shown success in running a blog & social media and day-to-day activities.
• Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, or Quip is a plus.
• Self-starter, motivated and able to multitask and prioritize workload across multiple collaborators.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $168,300 to $231,500.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $168,300 to $231,500.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
