Responsibilities:

The Salesforce Developer will be part of a team developing the application on the Salesforce Lightning platform. This position will work alongside the Salesforce Administrator and Technical Analyst, as well as other staff in the Information Services team and business departments, to realize the full capability of the Salesforce CRM platform. Position will be responsible for design and development of customizations, extensions, configurations, and integrations. This includes coding, unit testing, building applications, and creating and modifying existing applications. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for design, development, testing, and change management. This individual will drive highly visible Salesforce initiatives across the Elderplan organization including building applications on the Salesforce platform and supporting integrations with Salesforce.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one (1) Salesforce credential
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
  • Solid knowledge of the Sales, Service and Experience Cloud
  • Ability to be highly productive, both working alone and in close collaboration within a team, able to multi-process and thrive in a fast-paced, customer driven environment
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technical related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a health plan or managed care setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
  • Good understanding and experience with using the declarative customization capabilities of the Salesforce Platform and know when to use programmatic methods
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Salesforce platform in a technical role is required
  • Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skill
  • Understand how to develop and deploy custom business logic and custom interfaces using the programmatic capabilities of the Lightning Platform

Preferred:

  • Prior experience with data migration and ETL/integration tools a plus
  • Previous experience working in an agile environment
  • Knowledge of Health Cloud, FSL, DocuSign and/or DemandTools are a plus
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA and other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
