Associate, New Ventures at Elemy Schools:

We are looking for a dynamic candidate to join the rapidly evolving and high-growth "Schools" business line at Elemy! As a member of the New Ventures team, you will be responsible for the research, development, and initial execution of our go-to-market strategy for new markets. You will partner closely with with Operations, Product, Growth, and Clinical teams and leadership to gain a deep understanding of our business and utilize that knowledge to determine the best state expansion strategy. You will leverage data and analysis, expert interviews, and deep desktop research to develop recommendations, and uncover key insights for the business. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in the growth of Elemy Schools as we scale across the United States.

Who You Are:

• A strong communicator: You are a structured and analytical thinker, and have the ability to simplify complex problems and propose solutions using first principles.
• An experienced self-starter: You have 1+ years of experience researching or deploying go-to-market strategies.
• A strong project manager: You thrive keeping yourself and others organized while marching against group outcomes within challenging, but realistic, timelines.
• Ambitious: You are eager to make an impact, not just clock in and out. You are resilient, and thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic, hyper-growth environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Work 4 days at our SoHo office, and 1 day from home; some travel may be required to states of interest.
• Combine quantitative and qualitative insights to develop recommendations on the go-to-market strategy for new markets.
• Be comfortable sourcing and speaking with experts. Learn key insights by finding and interviewing thought leaders and veterans of the industry.
• Structure problems in a way that you can identify the root cause, articulate trade-offs, and execute flawlessly.
• Create clear and concise P&Ls/unit economics for your go-to-market plans. Define hiring plans, operating costs, marketing plans, acquisition targets, and more.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree with 2+ years experience at an investment bank, strategy consulting firm, or high-growth startup, ideally with exposure to research, operations, product, consumer technology, or healthcare
• Extremely strong written & oral communication skills
• Strong logical & analytical reasoning abilities
• Excellent with Excel / Google Sheets
• Past professional experience working in business research, business analysis, or data-driven problem-solving
• Intellectually curious & a highly motivated self-starter
• Experience with New Ventures research, is a strong plus
