Salesforce Application Support Specialist- Night Shift (Remote)

Summary: We are seeking Application Support Specialist to work closely with other Support Team Members, Developers, Integration, Test Engineers, and Architects to manage the resolution of application and system issues that arise in the Salesforce CRM application, and any of its integrated systems. Remote work allowed.

The Application Support Specialist is expected to have strong experience with business skills and technical IT knowledge and demands an ability to manage multiple high-level tasks under pressure. Keys to success in this role include good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build positive relationships with other team members, ability to follow basic troubleshooting techniques, process improvements, and escalation as needed.

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Studies, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, MIS; or equivalent work experience

Required Years of Experience: 2+ years, or Master’s equivalent

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of industry experience
• Must work well within a team and be flexible in pivoting to meet team goals
• Must be dedicated to learning about Salesforce and work towards certifications
• Respect individual values regarding diversity, inclusion, and customs

• Listening ability and patience
• Possessing specialist knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications, and software
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Providing technical support to teams within the organization, and to external clients when required
• Must have ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Extraordinary customer service and relationship management experience
• Critical thinking skills

• Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
• Integration experience
• Federal Government, VA and/or Healthcare IT experience
• Managing ticketed query system and ensuring comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is kept up to date
• Identifying and resolving technical issues

• Delivering regular and customized training to teams within the business
• Preparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organization’s systems
• Managing coordination at a local and international level where required
• Developing reports for teams across the business
