Job Description

Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking Salesforce Certified Developer to join our team in the DC Metro Area to support our government clients.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset, work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGS’ capabilities to serve our clients.


Job Responsibilities

As a Salesforce Developer, you will:

  • Execute test plans to ensure quality delivery using test code and unit tests.
  • Work with Technical/Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into well‐architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform.
  • Develop, test, document and maintain solutions, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation using Salesforce declarative or programmatic development resources such as triggers, workflows, validations, approvals, Apex classes, Visualforce pages and Lightning components.
  • Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews during projects to ensure appropriate design patterns are followed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or a Non-Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent training in successfully completed Boot Camps. (Bachelor's degree may be substituted for four years of relevant experience)
  • Willing to learn and support Salesforce development and implementation through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile.
  • Willing to learn, work and collaborate with product owners, clients, other business analysts, Solution Architects, Release Managers, etc.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • 0-1 years of Salesforce development skills, including Apex, Visualforce, REST, APIs, SOQL, XML, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.

Nice to have skills/qualifications

  • Strong expertise on various Salesforce.com APIs like SOAP, REST, BULK, and Streaming APIs.
  • Experience working in a team-based delivery environment, preferable in agile scrum teams.
  • Experience creating and managing sandbox and production environments.
  • Experience in Software Development using Object Oriented Programming such as C++ or Java
  • Demonstrate adherence to all the Salesforce.com best practices.
  • Experience in developing enterprise software using Salesforce.com platform using Lightning Web Component.
  • Experience with Salesforce Communities.
  • Consulting Cloud certifications (e.g. Sales, Service, etc.).
  • Demonstrate adherence to all the Salesforce.com best practices.
  • Experience in developing enterprise software using Salesforce.com platform.
  • Strong expertise in writing test classes and building triggers, batch classes, future methods etc.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $100K -$125K
