The Salesforce Administrator supports the Automotive business line club operations team to ensure the optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products. This position is accountable for upgrading and configuring Salesforce systems for optimized integrations and oversees the management of Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups. The Salesforce Administrator also provides feedback on system performance, defines solutions to complex challenges across development teams, and recommends improvements to supplier deliverables. This role ensures adherence to AAA standards, defines enterprise architecture guidelines, and contributes to application architecture decisions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Researches changes in upcoming Salesforce versions and provides recommendations that enhance the user experience and productivity.
- Supports all administrative functions, including user account maintenance, new user setup/deactivation, permissions, reports and dashboards, workflows, approval processes, and other routine tasks.
- Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refine priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks using Agile principles and methodologies.
- Troubleshoots, develops, and customizes the Salesforce platform using industry best practices.
- Translates business requirements and user stories into working solutions using appropriate configuration and development approaches.
- Documents system requirements, including validation rules, process builder, automation, record types, encryption, workflow, approval processes, and triggers.
- Evaluates and install new Salesforce releases and provides training and support to new and existing users.
- Oversees and assists in the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the Salesforce platform for the Automotive business line.
- Prepares custom reports and dashboards.
- Responds to Salesforce user requests and assists with developing solutions to address business needs. Serves as the subject matter expert for the administration of the Salesforce.com platform.
Requirements, Competencies, and Certifications:
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Salesforce certified administrator, multiple Salesforce certifications preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, flows, approval processes, custom views, and solve complex problems.
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
- Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities.
- Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems.
- Understanding backlog tracking, burn-down metrics, velocity, and task definition.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field and at least four (4) years of relevant experience; or Associate’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, plus IT-related certifications and five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Four (4) or more year experience as a Salesforce.com administrator and two (2) or more years experience in Field.
Hiring Range:
$103,000 - $111,000
The role also includes eligibility for participation in AAA, Inc.'s Annual Incentive Plan.
