The Systems Administrator will be an instrumental member of a dynamic IT operations team at a well-established, rapidly growing company, that is an industry leader and top employer within South Carolina. The role involves implementing new systems, managing server infrastructure, ensuring disaster recovery readiness, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on technology projects. The ideal candidate is proficient in Linux and Windows Server Operating Systems, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and has experience with server patching, virtualization, automation, and both on-premise and cloud-based systems.

You Are:

• A US Citizen that has the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
• Experienced building, deploying, patching, and administering Windows and Linux servers in an Enterprise Environment.
• Someone who thrives working in highspeed environments.

You Will:

• Administer on-premise and Cloud-based systems in Microsoft Azure
• Develop and coordinate project plans and schedules to maximize benefits and minimize impacts on the customer organizations.
• Build automation using PowerShell or comparable scripting languages
• Support virtualized server infrastructure using VMware ESXi
• Build, deploy, and support Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers across the enterprise.
• Monitor server activity; perform fault isolation and corrective/proactive preventative maintenance
• Performs user administration (setting up accounts, changing passwords, etc.) in Active Directory
• Patch Windows Servers using SCCM and Linux Servers using Ansible
• Support 24x7x365 IT operations including performing on-call activities.
• Lead and perform troubleshooting/problem solving and resolution of system issues.
• Administer the O365 environment

You Have:

• Knowledge and experience with Cloud Infrastructures.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Level Security Clearance.
• Experience administering VMware ESXi servers
• Experience automating system administration tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Perl, KSH, etc.
• A Bachelors Degree in IT-related fields OR an Associate with 5+ Years of related experience
• Expertise in Systems Administration, Server Hardware, Operating Systems, Virtualization Software and Active Directory
• Expertise in using SCCM or MS WSUS for patching systems
• Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat and Ubuntu) Operating systems in an Enterprise Environment of 100 or more servers.
