Job Description

Summary: The Salesforce Administrator is a key member of the Salesforce administration team, responsible for maintaining the Salesforce platform(s) to support the organization's business processes across all companies. This role involves troubleshooting, system integrations, data management, working with multiple orgs and custom objects, record types, page layouts, and collaboration with other team members and staff.
Academic Req: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field or a minimum of 2 yrs experience.
Certifications:
  • Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified preferred
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification is Required.
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Developer certifications preferred
Work experience: Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator.
Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:
  • Training and Documentation: Contribute to the creation of documentation and knowledge base articles to support user understanding and adoption of Salesforce.
  • Data Management: Import and export data as needed and provide data-related support to users. Create records to assist staff users in making their instance of Salesforce more effective and allow them to collect the data needed to create and issue reports to their contract holders.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Search for and fix the problem/complex user issues, system errors, and data discrepancies. Provide technical support to users, guiding them on best practices and addressing their questions or concerns.
  • System Integrations: Locate and identify components to enhance the Salesforce system through system updates, process automation, optimization, and integration with other systems, such as: Form Assembly, OwnBackup, Plauti Data Management and more.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the Salesforce team, such as the other Salesforce Admins, business intelligence analysts, and Salesforce Support Manager. Participate in team meetings, provide insights and recommendations, and contribute to decision-making processes related to Salesforce configuration and enhancements.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion.
  • Strong data management abilities
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
