We are currently seeking a Mobility Solution Sales Consultant to manage strategic accounts in the western area of the United States. The Sales Consultant will report to the Director of Business Development and work within a collaborative multi-disciplined team.


What you’ll be doing:


  • Focus on delivery of direct sales business targets in their region and work cooperatively with existing channel partners.
  • Develop consultative relationships with customers, consultants, government executives, business partners, etc.
  • Support and direct bid responses by reviewing RFP/RFQ requirements, crafting and describing technical solutions, and other written documentation vital to support bid generation efforts.
  • Consult key accounts holistically on their mobility needs, understand general pain points and sketch overall solution approach including safety, quality of life, and climate action.
  • Orchestrates sales process for complex mobility solutions and build a broader network of relationships in customer organizations and the transportation ecosystem.
  • Actively participate in regional professional societies such as ITE, ITS, APTA, etc.
  • Develop and propose sales budgets, growth forecasts aligned with the sales strategy and deep market insights.
  • The strategic role will have autonomy in determining and carrying out the strategy, business development, sales growth, and sales management for direct customers and commercial end user accounts.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product Management, and Project Management to position Yunex solutions in the marketplace.
  • Engage as a thought leader within their region building awareness, shaping needs, sketching solutions, and providing support and counsel with funding.
  • Lead customer meetings and presentations, represent Yunex at regional and national sales conferences, and is a leader with vision.


Who you are:


  • Problem-solving ability, including resolving customer complaints and connecting customers to Yunex to tackle issues.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, preferably demonstrated through a consistent track record of winning bids and leading customer presentations articulating the value proposition of solutions and services offering.
  • Experience developing and implementing a business development plan that weighs short-term revenue growth and profitability with long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work both as part of a sophisticated multi-disciplinary team and the ability to work independently to solve problems.
  • Bachelor's degree in related fields, MBA preferred. Previous experience as a consultant is helpful.
  • A robust network of customer relationships in major cities, counties, and departments of transportation and experience working with government and other potential market customers.
  • Ability to translate user requirements into effective system designs using appropriate ITS technology knowledgeable in industry standards.
  • Able to travel 50% plus within the US.
  • Understanding of ITS Markets, applications, field experience in traffic signal industry, and familiar with mobility applications.
  • 5-10 years of proven subject matter expertise and solution sales or consulting experience in the ITS or mobility industries, including knowledge of market conditions and competitive positions.
