Position Objective:
Blacksmith is seeking a motivated Salesforce Business Analyst who is the subject matter expert that collaborates with Project Manager, Sales Teams, business SMEs, and development teams to leverage the Salesforce platform to support our sales initiatives. Functioning as business analyst, lightly technical, and administrator, this role will be responsible for translating business requirements to provide recommendations, best practices, and deliver solutions that provide actionable insights. You will be challenged by a wide variety of projects leveraging an array of innovative technology to help us ultimately deliver digital products that exceed the expectations!

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to drive consistency of global processes
- Document and maintain process, policies, application configuration, and training material
- Data management skills including but not limited to deduplication processes, syncing Salesforce data with an external system, etc
- Work in an agile environment, utilizing Epics, Features and User Story method within Jira to scope out requirements with the Scrum team
- Liaison with sales, project managers, and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and propose solutions that optimize processes and performance of Salesforce CRM.
- Effectively act as the liaison between sales team as the end-users and CRM development teams, partner with CRM development team to evaluate click vs. code options, serve as first line of QA testing for all development and integration work performed by CRM development team
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles inconsistency, and breaks down high-level information into details
- Prepare documentation on expected benefits, use cases, current/proposed process, workflows, data flows, process re-engineering studies, guides and organization structures in moderate to highly complex environments
- Creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems.
- Basic integration abilities using REST APIs to connect 3rd party applications and tools into Salesforce as well as troubleshoot when connection isn’t working properly
Qualifications:
- Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail while maintaining a queue of multiple projects across discovery, development, and deployment phases of the SDLC
- Minimum 3 years of Business Analyst experience
- Ability to take on a variety of functional roles including business analyst, QA tester and training as needed to ensure product success
- Minimum 3 years of Salesforce project experience in Sales Cloud
- Strong writing and verbal skills with the ability to create business deliverables — including user stories and acceptance criteria, with minimal direction and support from a team lead or project manager
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Administrator (201) certification
- Ability to learn and adopt new technologies as well as staying current on existing ones, pursuing experience and certifications in leading edge or primary technology areas
- Sales Cloud Consultant certification
- Platform Developer 1 certification
- Experience using agile methodologies; managing backlog, grooming stories and preparing new release communications
