Description
The Civilian Health Solutions Operation has an opening for a Junior Business Analyst to support a large healthcare contract.
We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst to help support CMS’s Enterprise Portal Services (EPS) program who will understand thoroughly business space and its underlying data, inputs and outputs. The successful Junior Business Analyst should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze data to understand business problems and opportunities
- Organize requirements into epics and stories, generate Acceptance Criteria.
- Capture meeting minutes and key decisions for distribution to the team and subsequent review with the customer
- Identify and evaluate the potential risks and impacts of proposed solutions
- Work with the customer and team to refine the priorities within the Product Backlog
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Interface continually with the customer, project SMEs, and key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements in support of their vision
- Work with the scrum team to maximize the team's velocity
Required Skills:
- Experience creating detailed reports and presenting information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with Agile Methodology and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence to manage requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and an ability to follow-up in a timely manner
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual thinking, and documentation skills.
Desired Skills:
- A Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification or other agile-related certification
- Experience working in federal projects
Education/Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree (or higher). Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
All candidates supporting the CMS programs must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years prior in order to be considered.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $54,600.00 - $84,000.00 - $113,400.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
