THE ROLE: As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales for a territory of KidStrong centers. In this critical position, the Sales Manager must demonstrate a deep understanding of the KidStrong brand and curriculum in order to meet and exceed sales goals. The Sales Manager must have a laser focus on meeting and exceeding numbers and be obsessed with lead generation and follow up. Flawless maintenance of company generated leads is a must. Dedication to building the lead pipeline through community engagement and self-generated partnerships is required.
The Sales Manager must execute sound communication with the centers they support in order to ensure observations, trials, and new members receive a world-class experience when starting their KidStrong journey. Exceptional Sales Managers will maintain great relationships with families they enroll in order to drive retention and to serve as an ongoing source of referrals.
This is not the typical 9am-5pm job. For the Sales Manager to be successful they will be making calls and interacting with parents when they are available – mornings, evenings, and weekends. This role is based out of HQ offices (5 days/week) but will spend some time in centers (1 shift per week) and in the community spreading the word about KidStrong! Flexibility in their availability is required. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work closely with Operations Manager on seamless process for observations, trials, and enrollments
  • Respond and follow through in a timely manner with all KidStrong corporate/owner requests and client/ lead requests
  • DFW travel required with a variable schedule.
  • Properly manages and exceeds all KidStrong sales and operational budgets
  • Weekly meeting with DFW leadership to assess and drive the overall portfolio performance and/or attending meetings and community events.
  • Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service beyond the sale to protect brand integrity
  • Drive membership sales through high-volume outbound phone calls on inbound leads (100+ calls/day is a typical outbound phone sales effort)
  • Attend team meetings as required and support center level initiatives i.e. center maintenance, trainings, etc.
  • Sales Manager will work 4 week days and 1 weekend day with specific hours based on the needs of the centers they support
  • Oversee the sales process and systems. Experience with the following systems is preferred but not required; ZenPlanner, Sales Messenger, HubSpot, Google Sheets/Docs/Slides, and autodialer systems.
  • Create and implement quarterly community engagement plans to drive lead generation and support brand awareness
  • Proactively source partnerships and corporate sales opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated urgency during promotional cycles to maximize return on ad spend
  • Strong sales mentality and comfortability with outbound sales efforts
  • Prior CRM experience (Salesforce, etc.) is ideal for this position
  • 2-5+ years of prior experience in outbound phone sales is strongly preferred (200+ calls/day)
  • Adventurous and enterprising spirit with open, participative leadership style and drive for excellence
  • Practical work experience using Microsoft Office Products
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor
  • 1+ years of experience in health, fitness, or hospitality sales is strongly preferred
