Location: West Coast, United States

Salary: Starting at $140,000 per annum, plus 10-15% bonus

Experience: Minimum +5 years' Personal Care technical/commercial experience

Education: Degree in Chemistry preferred

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of Account Managers and overseeing the sales efforts in the West Coast region of the United States. As a Sales Manager, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and expanding our market presence.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Product Development teams to understand market trends and customer needs
• Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets
• Manage and lead a team of Account Managers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key global accounts, including personal care and cosmetic manufacturers
• Identify new business opportunities and drive the acquisition of new customers

Requirements:

• Ability to travel within the West Coast region and occasionally internationally
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
• Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the personal care or cosmetic ingredients industry
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
