Summary:

This job is primarily responsible for managing a team of sales associates. This includes scheduling, monitoring employee performance, training, assisting with customer sales, interacting with customers, employee performance evaluation, opening and closing the store, and other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Open the store before sales associates arrive and prepare for the day.
• Discuss job performance problems with employees to identify causes and issues and to work on resolving problems. Render employee disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary.
• Communicate with corporate and dealership management on a daily basis as needed.
• Review prospect sheets after a customer has selected a vehicle.
• Manage teams and sales pipeline through DealerSocket to achieve performance goals.
• Retrain sales associates when they fail to adhere to the established processes.
• Ensure all employees are adhering to the script.
• Train the sales staff on the script, phone skills, dress code, and other company policies during designated training times and as needed.
• Present all trades to customers.
• Close the store and ensure that all sales have been reconciled and sent to the rest of the company.
• Perform personnel functions such as interviewing, selection, training, and performance evaluations.
• Appraise vehicles as needed.
• Review outside lot.
• Record the day-to-day business in the log.
• Interact with customers and associates while working on the sales floor, at the kiosks, in the delivery area and on the lot.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Assist other teams in meeting performance goals in order to achieve store performance goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position supervises employees.

Qualifications:

• All employees must be able to speak, understand, and write in the English language. The ability to also speak, understand and write Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Must have experience with DealerSocket and CDK
• We are looking for experienced automotive sales managers who are organized, motivated, and willing to work in a high stress and fast-paced environment.
• A valid Florida driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record at the sole discretion of Off Lease Only.
• 3 + years managerial experience in a high-volume store preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A basic knowledge of computers and MS Office programs is required.
