Job Summary

As a Data Analyst, you will be working closely with leadership to collect requirements, design reports, and present data to ensure our stakeholders make the best business decisions. You will also maintain and troubleshoot published solutions, and work to continuously improve the team by finding opportunities to improve our data pipelines.

What We Do

• Design dashboards for multiple service lines based on the constantly evolving needs of a fast paced business
• Develop front-ends for data entry
• Modernize our legacy solutions to adapt to our growing account
• Develop new features for existing solutions
• Craft a manage a growing data warehouse
• Find and ingest data sources

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Exhibit analytical difficulty, judgment, and ability to communicate a comprehensive 'data story' to multiple levels of the organization.
• Work closely with stakeholders across multiple service lines to collect requirements
• Identify and troubleshoot data integration and integrity issues in collaboration with the appropriate CBRE business units
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports and data entry tools
• Automate data ingestion for new data sources
• Other Duties as Assigned

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• See opportunities to improve data usage, applying modeling and optimization methods to develop new strategies and improve business performance.
• Develop data structures and pipelines to coordinate, collect, cleanse, and standardize data in order to generate insights and address reporting needs.
• Run ad-hoc queries as needed

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, engineering or related field. Typically has 3 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in the following.

Technical Skills

• Outstanding skills with Excel, SQL, and manual data analysis
• Experience developing dashboards and telling stories through data using data visualization software
• Experienced with either hands-on or applied advanced statistical methods and model development
• Experienced with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Ability to understand and evaluate solutions built from more sophisticated tools such as R and Python

Communication Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to deliver efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. Strong analytical skills.

Scope of Responsibility

Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
