Role Overview:
As the Director of Sales, you will play a crucial role in driving the agency's growth and success. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the sales team, develop and implement effective sales strategies, and identify new business opportunities. You will work closely with our executive team to align sales objectives with the agency's overall vision and ensure consistent revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of skilled sales professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs, and tailoring solutions to meet their marketing objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation strategies.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to ensure seamless project handoffs and delivery of exceptional client experiences.
- Prepare and present persuasive sales proposals and pitch materials that showcase the agency's capabilities and value proposition.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand the agency's client portfolio.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to position the agency as a thought leader and stay ahead in the market.
- Analyze sales data and metrics to measure performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of market dynamics and the ability to identify emerging opportunities.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and expanding client bases.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of sales professionals.
- Passionate about creativity, marketing, and branding trends.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within the marketing or advertising industry.
