This role will manage the compensation tool (Xactly) and any commission-related reports/dashboards. In addition, the Sales Compensation Manager will be responsible for accurately calculating and processing commission payments based on established commission plans and sales performance data. They will prepare and distribute reports on sales performance, commission payouts, and other relevant metrics to stakeholders.
This position reports directly to the VP, Revenue Operations.
Location
This is a remote role with the flexibility to work from any location in the United States.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and recommendation to improve the sales compensation design, modeling, communication, and implementation
- Develop, maintain and update systems and processes critical to the reporting and tracking of compensation and sales team metrics
- Manage the administration of sales incentive compensation programs, SPIF programs, policies, and procedures that support current strategies and financial objectives
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations
- Responsible for forecasting commission payouts for each month
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of all sales incentive plans across the sales organization and be able to effectively communicate rationale, strategy, and calculations
- Provide sales leadership with insights, analysis, reporting, and tools to evaluate attainment-to-goal metrics and drive sales performance
- Supervise and administer the data integration from Salesforce to Xactly
- Provide timely and accurate resolution of commissions inquiries and disputes
- Ensure timely and accurate sales incentive administration and pay distribution on a monthly basis
- Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation plans, develops actionable insights, and recommends changes that are consistent with compensation trends and objectives
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history
- Experience with Salesforce and Xactly required
- Focus on continuous improvement to support sustainable and efficient processes
- Advanced experience with Microsoft office applications
- Experience with SaaS sales modeling preferred
- 5+ years of experience professional compensation experience

Salary Disclosure
Base Salary range: $100,000-$110,000
This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job-related factors. DCN’s compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
