Description
Basic Purpose and Scope:
The Manager, Revenue Growth Management provides analysis and insight to improve trade promotion efficiency to uncover opportunities for improved ROI, and influences tangible improvements for assigned categories for brands, Business Units, and Key Customers. The person in the role will help design and deploy pricing realization / RGM tests at retail partners
Position Description

• Balances desire to move quickly in establishing capability with considerations of ROI, and onboarding of new teams
• Reports to the Director, Revenue Growth Management
• Engage with the front-line, customer teams and retailers to sell-in / design price and promo testing programs
• Will work closely with a cross functional groups from Finance, Marketing, and Key customer teams in ongoing analysis of current year plan
• Monitors current year risk and opportunities for ongoing adjustment to strategies and tactics to achieve plan
• Help refine In-year dynamic management of media/trade budget
• Lead Ad Hoc projects in and outside core responsibilities to build knowledge base within project that enhance company’s growth and /or profitability
• In concert with media tactics, define a testing plan to pressure test elements of the RGM category leaders’ pricing realization strategy for a brand
• Evaluate historical promotional event performance and influence the design of new strategies to maximize performance results. Influence successful deployment of promotion optimization insights to key user groups within commercial, RGM and networked organization
• Drive thought leadership and adaptation recommendations necessary to evolve business segment’s trade spend and promotional strategies by supporting the development of insights and the implementation of optimization principles across the organization
• Lead the development of the 4 -P’s strategies and tactical plans for the assigned categories.

Position Requirements
Position Requirements:

• Understanding of P&L management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
• Knowledge in Agile Process, Database Analyst, and Project Management preferred
• 20% -25% travel
• Minimum 5 years with CPG company in Revenue Management, Business Development, Trade Marketing, Brand Strategy and planning, Sales, Category Management or Trade Analytic roles
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline preferred. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
• MBA preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Working knowledge of IRI/Syndicated Data and Existing BBU Systems
• Understanding of DSD environment
• Strong problem-solving skills, technical skills and conceptual thinking abilities
• Ability to lead through influence and indirect authority with cross functional groups
