If you are passionate about revenue accounting and reporting with the automation of financial systems, then this is the role for you. The Accounting Operations team supports company-wide strategic initiatives such as those revolving around digital financial transformation, launching new business models to market, and mergers and acquisitions. You will support the existing revenue automation platform with day-to-day and quarter-end activities. You will also support platform updates and testing related to digital financial transformation and new business model projects. In this role you will partner with finance stakeholders, IT developers and external vendors to succeed in the critical revenue automation goals.

Qualifications

• Expert Excel and data mining capabilities
• 10+ years of experience in the areas of Finance/Revenue/Accounting
• Confidence, good judgment, energy, and personality to work in a dynamic, multi-business unit environment across all levels of management, business functions, and geographies
• The problem-solving mindset with the ability to deep dive into issues and support their resolution
• Ability to self manage, juggle multiple tasks, and proactively organize to achieve success with quarter-end close timelines
• Ability to grasp the big picture and drill down into details when needed
• Experience with revenue automation systems (RevPro, RAR, RevStream, RevSym, or other). RevPro experience (or other similar revenue automation tool) required.
• Knowledge of revenue (ASC 606) and other general accounting concepts. Ability to discuss these topics with non-finance stakeholders

Desired Knowledge/Skills

• Experience with SAP S4 Hanna, Business Objects and QlikView, a plus
• Understanding of quote-to-collect processes and go-to-market initiatives

Responsibilities

• Develop strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels.
• Lead quarter-end close processes for the revenue automation platform.
• Partner with finance, IT, operations, and reporting teams to manage the existing revenue automation tool with daily, monthly, and quarterly tasks and ad hoc issue resolution.
• Support UAT efforts for enhancements and upgrades.
• Support audit schedule preparation and work with external and internal auditors
• Support ongoing maintenance of the existing revenue automation platform while the new platform is being built. Support eventual decommissioning of the existing platform.
• Support business users with defect identification, prioritization, and support for the resolution.
